Gprnt (pronounced "greenprint") is an abbreviation of Project Greenprint, a fintech initiative started by the Monetary Authority of Singapore to deliver technological capabilities that simplify and streamline the collection of verifiable data for sustainability goals.

How Gprnt Came About

It began with an idea

Gprnt began as Project Greenprint, an initiative by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) to build a platform for streamlined sustainability data access and reporting, aiming to mobilise capital for sustainable projects.
Start Small
That grew through experimentation

We launched two pilots to test and refine our value proposition:

1. ESGenome with the Singapore Exchange (SGX) to simplify the sustainability reporting journey for listed entities
2. ESG Registry with local fintech STACS to streamline availability of sectoral ESG certifications.

Move Fast
Leading to a new platform being launched
2023
Gprnt was unveiled at the 2023 Singapore Fintech Festival by then-MAS Managing Director Ravi Menon as an open digital infrastructure, backed by public and private stakeholders, to empower national and global ESG reporting and data needs.

Tackling sustainability data gaps in local, regional and supply chain applications
